The works in the exhibition examine how we approach imagery, depending on the form in which it is presented. The sculptures in the exhibition are reminiscent of carved chair frames from church pews. In the traditional context they might be decorated with religious symbols or saints, but here they show simple images of fleeting moments, such as a floating leaf in a pond, a necklace breaking, a tiny cloud of perfume rising from an open bottle..
